Get the Picture is a photo contest on WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2. Listeners are invited to submit photos between August 4th and August 17th, 2014 taken in our region in three categories – People, Places and Things. Any photo you submit must be taken by you.  You must have permission from any people appearing in photos before you submit them.  Photos will be posted via the upickem platform on all three station web sites. One photo per category and the same photo cannot be entered into multiple categories. Users will be able to register and vote for their favorite pictures. Voting begins August 18th and ends August 29th.  The top vote getter in each category at the close of the voting period will win the prize. If two or more photos receive the same number of votes, station staff will break the tie via random selection.

Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round.  Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address.  If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, WRSI, WHMP and Hits 94.3  reserve the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.

You can vote for any photo once per day. The prize for the winner in each category is a $100 gift certificate to Lumber Yard Restaurant and a high quality digital print of your winning photo from Paleophoto.

 Winners will be notified via email and announced on the air.

WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 contests are open to all eligible Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire residents age 18 or older have not won anything on WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2, Saga Communications of Northampton, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning.
