Get the Picture is a photo contest on WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2. Listeners are invited to submit photos between 12 noon August 3rd and midnight August 30th, 2015 taken in our region in three categories – People, Places and Things. Any photo you submit must be taken by you.  You must have permission from any people appearing in photos before you submit them.  Photos will be posted via the upickem platform on all three station web sites. One photo per category and the same photo cannot be entered into multiple categories. Users will be able to register and vote for their favorite pictures. Voting begins 12 noon August 3rd and ends midnight August 30th.  Voters must be registered members of UPICKEM. Entrants must include all required registration information to register and agree to terms for UPICKEM.   The top vote getter in each category at the close of the voting period will win the prize. If two or more photos receive the same number of votes, station staff will break the tie via random selection. This contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in Northampton affiliated with the Northampton Radio Group and listeners of said stations will then be competing to win the same prize. Winners will ultimately be chosen at the sole discretion of WRSI/WHMP/WLZX-HD2.

Listeners can vote once per day during the voting round.  Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address.  If an entrant receives irregular votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, WRSI, WHMP and Hits 94.3  reserve the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion.

Entries containing inappropriate photos or music will be disqualified. Any photograph submitted to WRSI/WHMP/WLZX-HD2 will become the property of the Station and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. WRSI/WHMP/WLZX-HD2 have the final say of what content is appropriate for the website. No use of indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted.

The prize for the winner in each category is a $100 gift certificate to The Blue Heron restaurant 112 North Main Street, Sunderland .

Winners will be notified via email and announced on the air. No purchase necessary. WRSI/WHMP/WLZX-HD2’s sole responsibility is to award the prize. Winner will be responsible for any applicable state and federal taxes. Prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
