Get the Picture is a photo contest on WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2. Listeners are invited to submit photos between August 1st and August 30th, 2013 taken in our region in three categories – People, Places and Things.

Any photo you submit must be taken by you.  You must have permission from any people appearing in photos before you submit them.  Photos will be posted via the upickem platform on all three station web sites. You can enter one photo per category. Users will be able to register and vote for their favorite pictures. Voting begins August 1st and ends August 30th.  You can enter photos and vote any time during the contest. The top vote getter in each category at the close of the voting period will win the prize. If two or more photos receive the same number of votes, station staff will break the tie..

You can vote for any photo once per day. The prize for the winner in each category is a large canvas print of the winning photo with an approximate retail value of $200 from Iris Photo and Digital plus a $100 gift certificate to Blue Heron Restaurant.    

WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 contests are open to all eligible Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire residents age 18 or older have not won anything on WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2, Saga Communications of Northampton, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WRSI, WHMP and WLZX-HD2 main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning.
